Who

My name is Robert Tobey I love photography, cooking, art, and drawing. I am an avid recreational cyclist. And did I mention? I am a freelance, front-end engineer - with over 12 years of experience.

What

I build web sites - from scratch, wireframes, or design comps (PSD's). I have full lifecycle, project manegement experience with my strength being in front-end development. I worked at Alloy Media + Marketing for 5 years, where I helped to build sites & microsites for major companies like Maybelline, Coty, LG, Jones New York, Anne Klein, L.e.i. Jeans and many others; as well as the book sites for Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and Frenemies to name a few.

My services are reasonable, but more expensive than what you would find on the "web developer auction house sites". If you don't want to waste your money, give me a call.

Why

I love my work. I am very passionate about it. Why? First it really allows my creative side to flow and come alive. Second, we are living in an exciting age - the Technology Revolution - and there is barely a day that goes by that I don't see something new and amazing being discovered. It keeps everything I do fresh and new. Third, I really enjoy growing and learning new things; with the fast pace of growth in this field, there is always something new out there that I can use to help improve my work and incorporate into my skill set.
